Sunday Not-So-Scaries: July 12

Woo… Another week, how are we doin’? Things are starting to come along at our house right now which is really exciting. We moved in nearly two years ago and hadn’t been able to make the changes we envisioned when we bought it. At the beginning of March we started renovating our living/dining rooms but had to put it off due to the shutdowns until recently. I’m happy to say it’s FINALLY finished! Once it’s decorated I’ll be sharing a post about it, and I can’t wait.

The only downside is I’m finding I feel very indecisive about which furniture pieces I’d like for our new living area — I currently have six tabs open with different area rugs. I know the right one will catch my eye eventually, though. Maybe.

While working on our home has been keeping us pretty busy lately, here’s a few things I’m loving right now:

It has been HOT lately, and it’ll be in the 90’s next week here in Jersey. I haven’t felt comfortable going to the beaches this year due to the virus. I’m thankful to have the privacy of a backyard where I can sit and relax in the sun safely. Tom and I have been discussing the possibility of a pool some day, but in the mean time I bought this inflatable pool. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s the perfect size to chill out and keep cool for a bit. And it’s under $20, which is a steal.

We just watched Palm Springs on Hulu and it was a delight. I went into it knowing nothing about the movie and it didn’t disappoint, plus I love a good romcom AND I love Palm Springs. A win-win.

How cute is this swimsuit from Halla Halla? It’s giving me all of the 80s/90s vibes.

To be honest, not a whole lot is stopping me from bringing butterfly clips back into my life. These are so perfect.

I’ve been considering buying a skateboard or rollerskates lately. Can a 31-year-old lady handle a skateboard for the first time or no?

Hope you’re all having a relaxing Sunday!
