I have a confession to make: I’m a tad bit winter coat obsessed. I have a few in the closet and I’m constantly saving others to my wish list. I spent years of my childhood without a winter coat because we couldn’t afford them. Now I find myself buying up coats, but also giving away coats. Keeping people warm feels really important to me. Wearing Glasses on Your Wedding Day

I went back and forth with the idea of getting contacts specifically for my wedding or just wearing my glasses for most of my two year engagement. I’ve been wearing glasses for over 20 years and more than half of that time I’ve been wearing the same style: black thick rimmed glasses. It’s kind of my thing since the early 2000’s and I’m probably never letting it go, to be honest. I asked Tom at one point what he thought I should do and he suggested that I wear my glasses. It’s what I’m most comfortable in. It’s what I’m seen in the most. And that’s the assurance I needed, even though I was going to do what I wanted no matter what anyway haha.
