MARATHON
42km
For all running enthusiasts, the environment in which they run is important. When we are surrounded by nature, every step is easier and as we “immerse” ourselves more and more in the greenery that surrounds us, we notice the effort less and less because we are filled with the beauty of nature. Runners who come from the urban jungle to the green oasis, to the fresh, clean air, run with a big smile on their face, and you will certainly not see that anywhere else. The Plitvice Marathon is one of the most popular races in Croatia and gives you a unique opportunity to run directly above the Veliki slap waterfall, along the lakes and the Crna and Bijela rivers.
Registration Fee: 60 EUR
Starting package:
- entrance ticket to the Plitvice Lakes National Park (one-time in the period 5-8.6.);
- cotton T-shirt with the event logo;
- synthetic running T-shirt with the event logo;
- cotton bag;
- multipurpose scarf (buff);
- hot meal and drink at the finish line;
- automatic participation in a rich raffle;
- voucher for free parking in the National Park during the race;
- shuttle transport from the parking lot to the start and back;
- chip and starting number.
The price also includes:
- emergency medical assistance with available vehicle and personnel, firefighters, on-duty police officers and National Park ranger service employees;
- preparation, cleaning, marking and organization of trails;
- eight refreshments with water and food, five with water and refreshments with water and food at the finish line;

Half marathon Valentina Valjak
21km
From 2021, the Plitvice Half Marathon will be named Valentina Valjak, after the untimely winner of the 2020 Plitvice Half Marathon.

The race is intended for recreational athletes and those who have decided to enjoy the beauties of the Park in a relaxed manner.

- cotton T-shirt with the event logo;
- cotton bag;
- multipurpose scarf (buff);
- drink at the finish line;
- automatic participation in a rich raffle;

Plitvice marathon 42km
The first three competitors in the male and female categories win plaques and victory medals, and the first five also receive appropriate cash prizes:

- Second place €400
- Third place €200
- Fourth place €130
- Fifth place €80
The first three competitors in the male and female competition by age category win victory medals (the winners from the absolute category do not enter the selection by age category).
The first three teams win plaques (the five best times of the mixed team members are added up, and the team with the lowest total time wins).
