MARATHON
42km
For all running enthusiasts, the environment in which they run is important. When we are surrounded by nature, every step is easier and as we “immerse” ourselves more and more in the greenery that surrounds us, we notice the effort less and less because we are filled with the beauty of nature. Runners who come from the urban jungle to the green oasis, to the fresh, clean air, run with a big smile on their face, and you will certainly not see that anywhere else. The Plitvice Marathon is one of the most popular races in Croatia and gives you a unique opportunity to run directly above the Veliki slap waterfall, along the lakes and the Crna and Bijela rivers.
Registration Fee: 60 EUR
Starting package:
- entrance ticket to the Plitvice Lakes National Park (one-time in the period 5-8.6.);
- cotton T-shirt with the event logo;
- synthetic running T-shirt with the event logo;
- cotton bag;
- multipurpose scarf (buff);
- hot meal and drink at the finish line;
- automatic participation in a rich raffle;
- voucher for free parking in the National Park during the race;
- shuttle transport from the parking lot to the start and back;

From 2021, the Plitvice Half Marathon will be named Valentina Valjak, after the untimely winner of the 2020 Plitvice Half Marathon.

The top three teams win plaques and cash prizes (the top ten places won by team members are added up, and the team with the lowest total wins).
The categories are mixed and are awarded for the marathon and half marathon together, and the five- and “wannabe 10” together.
Children’s races
The first three competitors in the mixed categories for the 100, 200 and 500m races win plaques and victory medals.
